Why I built QuickCommerceJobs.
I noticed something odd while ordering groceries on Blinkit last year. My order - dal, rice, onions, a pack of Parle-G - showed up at my door in Jaipur in 11 minutes. Eleven minutes. I started wondering about the person who picked those items off the shelf, packed them, and handed them to the delivery rider. Who are they? How did they find this job?
So I looked it up. Turns out there are over 4,000 dark stores in India, run by Blinkit, Zepto, and Swiggy Instamart. Each store employs 10 to 20 people - pickers, packers, supervisors, managers. That's up to 80,000 workers powering the 10-minute delivery economy. And with 15–30% monthly attrition, these platforms need to hire over a lakh workers every year.
Yet when I searched “Blinkit picker job in Jaipur,” Google showed me nothing useful. No dedicated platform. No aggregated listings. Just WhatsApp forwards, faded pamphlets at store entrances, and local newspaper ads. Workers were finding these jobs through word of mouth. Recruiters were struggling to fill positions.
Naukri ranks for software jobs. LinkedIn ranks for corporate jobs. Nobody was building for the jobs that power India's 10-minute delivery economy. Not a single platform existed for the hundreds of thousands of workers who make quick commerce possible.
So I built this. Alone. In my apartment in Jaipur. One line of code at a time.
“The workers picking your 10-minute delivery orders deserve a real job platform. Not a WhatsApp group.”
Our non-negotiables
We'll never charge workers.
Dark store workers earn ₹12,000–₹25,000/month. Charging them to find a job would be predatory. Our platform is free for job seekers, forever.
We'll never fake listings.
Every job on our platform corresponds to a real dark store in our database. No ghost listings to inflate numbers. If we show 73 jobs in Jaipur, there are 73 real dark stores hiring.
We'll never sell your data.
Your phone number, email, and profile stay on our servers. We don't sell them to recruiters, data brokers, or anyone else. Recruiters only see what's necessary for the specific job you applied to.
We'll never pretend to be Blinkit, Zepto, or Swiggy.
We're an independent platform. We're not affiliated with these companies. We aggregate public information about their dark stores to help workers find jobs. We're clear about this everywhere.
We'll never use dark patterns.
No hidden fees, no forced upgrades, no "premium" features that block essential functionality, no nagging you to upgrade. If something is free, it stays free.
We'll never lie about our scale.
If we have 142 workers registered, we say 142. Not "join thousands." Honesty is cheaper than losing trust.
Here's how we plan to pay the bills.
The platform is free for workers and will always be free for workers.
Here's how we sustain ourselves (or plan to):
- ●Recruiters and staffing agencies pay to post verified listings and access the candidate database. Basic posting will remain free.
- ●Enterprise companies can pay for bulk hiring tools, analytics dashboards, and priority support.
- ●We may offer optional paid features for recruiters (featured listings, faster candidate delivery, AI screening).
What we won't do:
- ✕Ads shown to workers
- ✕Selling worker data
- ✕Pay-to-rank listings that prioritize recruiters over worker quality
- ✕Charging workers for anything
If our business model ever conflicts with worker interests, worker interests win. This isn't a marketing promise - it's structurally how the platform is built.

About me.
Hi, I'm Sachin.
I'm 23, based in Jaipur. I taught myself to code. I've worked at Turing as a software engineer, published an IEEE paper on AI (ICECA 2025), and built a few things before this.
But QuickCommerceJobs is the project I care about most. Because it's solving a real problem for real people - not building another AI agent or SaaS tool.
